- Silent E - 7.4

Stage 7 - Very important stage. Liz suggests using character cards to retell the story. The outcome of reading is comprehension - need to always keep this in mind as the goal.

Teacher Activity Resource - great for resources and information for teachers to teach at stage 7
Repeated reading - read a page over again (2 or 3 times) to build fluency.
Dictated sentences - say the sentence to the kids - kids say it to a buddy - listen until you hear that the sentences are correct then students right it.
'c' is soft when followed by e, i, y - same as 'g'
