Maths - Talk-ups
WHAT
Maths Talk-Ups
- Don't be afraid to have reminders for teachers and students to refer to
- Put examples of previous talk-ups on the wall. Doesn't need to be beautiful
- The people that talk the most learn the most
SO WHAT/NOW WHAT
From week 2 onwoards, Maths Talk-ups will be included in my programme. TO do this I will utilise our classroom telivision as a focal point to display engaging multi media provications. I will also use the T.V to display a digital modelling book through Google Jamboard, which will record student thinking. Students could even record their thing themselves. The modelling book can then be pronted out and displayed on our Numeracy wall. Before begining I will look over the websites and reasources that Bridget provided. Additionally, I will display a poster on the whiteboard for my reference with different question stems.
