What else could you do to challenge and engage your learners?

One thing I do to give students the best possible chance to reach their potential is me as a teacher knowing where they are currently at with their learning, as well as what their strengths and passions are. Doing this enables me to have an awareness of what student strengths I can bring to the fore, as well as what other students require extra support in order to reach their potential.

Another thing that I could do to enable learners to reach their potential is to create more opportunities for them to take ownership of their own learning. Ideas such as 'Teach it Tuesday' would work well to achieve this.
