Mana Potential P.D - 13.03.25
WHAT
Rongo - I can do it
Maui - I'm ok, I just need more practise
Rūau - I can do it with support
Tū - I need to stop and get help
Tawhiri - I need to work with my expert
Tangaroa - I know what I want to do now
Go Tos/ Check Ins
How can Papatuanuku help us get back
to Rongo or Tangaroa because Papa is
where we hold our source of strength. The
people and places of our go tos.
SO WHAT? What happens after the check
ins?
The atua rest with Ranginui (we can't
touch) Papa is what we can touch and
how to fix anything.
If someone says they are rongo, but you
can see they are acting ruaumoko. You
could say "well your actions are making
me feel rūaumoko or tu by doing _____" —
relaying it to you.
Compliment Balls:
Words on the wall with pictures
underneath to show what it might look like
What actually does kindness look like?
More than just the surface - not features
like you're pretty
Tuku lho
Connections
Similarities
Differences
Remember when video - Matariki -
someone who has passed - a happy story.
Mana Potential Framework:
Narratives / purako around the atua and
WHO they are
Pictures around the atua of our own
tamariki The purako is how the world is through a
Māori point of view
Go back to the stories
Mauitikitiki - mother was human, comes
from his mothers top knot - purako
Mauitikitiki - is an atua - powers are just
not as strong as the others, but is still an
atua.

NOW WHAT
Focus on:
- using check-ins (need to get the cards)
- Compliment balls
