Big Idea:	Our focus is on spelling
Key Ideas/Messages that informed/or challenge my teaching practice	We need to be more systematic when teaching spelling. Analysis of our data. Our primary purpose at this stage is to use the information to inform our teaching. Sometime words are said differently to how they are spelt. Mother - Motha Kids need to know that words are spelt differently to how they are said sometimes. Thoughts on implementing this in our programme. Try different approaches during guided sessions - at the start of a sessions or as a stand alone.
Implications/Actions for my teaching practice	I am keen to see each group twice a week with one session being getting into the book and comp with the other session focusing on vocab/spelling. There is a lot of teaching that needs to happen before students can complete independent spelling activities (word sorts)
