What are you most looking forward to in 2019
I am really excited about letting go. This year I have challenged myself to passover a large degree of control to my students. This will involve thinking about what things I do that could potentially be done by students. The idea behind this is to try and increase the level of ownership students have of their learning and the classroom space in general. The interesting thing is that this is something that I used to do when I first started teaching and over the years I have pulled back a lot of the control. I put this mainly down to wanting things to run smoothly and be all nice and neat. I am both excited and daunted by this challenge and look forawrd to reflecting on my prgress further down the track - watch this space.
Welcome to my professional teaching blog. On this blog you will find all my professional reflections, professional development and educational bits-and-pieces.
