Reflection - 27.02.2023
It’s been five weeks since Retreat. Everyone has had an opportunity to get handwriting up and running. Reflect on handwriting using a PMI:
Positive (what is going well?):
- A good settler after lunch
- Gives the opportunity to notice and address errors as they arise
- Structured in a way to provide explicit instruction and scaffolding
Minus (What are some challenges?)
- Haven't taught cursive before so am in the pit
Interesting (What have you found interesting?)
- Differentiation? Kids working at different speeds at different levels.
