Reflection - 15.08

Think of 1 child in your class - what are you deliberately doing to ensure that child meets our school vision of Whaia Kia Tutuki? The first child that comes to mind is J.S. I have made a deliberate effort to create systems and programmes for this student to help give him the best chance to reach his potential. This includes meeting with whanau, positive forcasting, regular check-in's, communication with home via Seesaw, positive incentives, and extra responsibilities. These efforts have started to see some positive changes for this student. The main thing I have noticed is a growth in his self-image.
