What am I proud of about today?

A new format to record formative assessment during reading was easily to implement and will help me to stay in tune with next steps.

What didn't go so well?

Still need to work on modeling new activities for students

Productivity. I am concerned that students are not getting through enough work during guided reading sessions.

How could this be improved?

Becoming better at modeling will help as it will enable students to start work immediately. A greater emphasis on accountability may work. I already collect books in regularly, but there is no system in place when students fail to complete expected tasks. 

Students that fail to complete the expected work will need to do so in their own time. On Friday, students that have completed their work will be rewarded.
