Mentoring - Expert, advice, intent
One is not better than the other, and at times we move from one to another. They are on different ends of the curriculum.
A coach has some great questions for your answers. A mentor has some great answers to our questions.
Real listening is listening to understand - not to reply
SO WHAT/NOW WHAT
My challenge is focusing on becoming a more active listening when having professional conversations. To do this I will focus on understanding what the person is saying through re-phrasing.
